Facet Technology Corp. Announces Parcel Database of 60 million

Eden Prairie, MN – June 1, 2009 - Facet Technology Corp. today announced that it has now collected more than 60 million parcels descriptions in the US.

Facet Technology has announced the availability of its SightMap® parcel data layer and SightMap® point addressing layer. The parcel data has been normalized and inspected to ensure it meets the high accuracy standards of the SightMap® product. The advanced normalization techniques runs over 100 tests on each parcel before it is matched to the other SightMap® layers such a roads and water. The availability of the data for SightMap® customers of a parcel database that is spatially accurate and matches with the underlying road network is a major step forward.

Delivery of the data layers for customers is done via the SightMap® Web Service which enables customers updates to their map data on their schedule.
