Facet Technology Corp. Receives Advertising patent

Eden Prairie, MN – November 11, 2008 - Facet Technology Corp. today announced that it has been granted patent 7,451,041 entitled “Network-based navigation system having virtual drive-thru advertisements integrated with actual imagery from along a physical route”.

Robert Laumeyer, CTO of Facet stated: “This is a significant patent as it covers the fast developing use of virtual advertising. The market for advertising in virtual and modeled worlds is just starting, but this patent firmly establishes our technology in this arena. This also ties in nicely with much of our patent portfolio which currently stands at 16 issued patents”.
